If you provide Personal Data about someone else (e.g., an employee driver), you confirm you have authority and any required consent. If you believe we received your data improperly, contact us (Section 16).
3. Types of Personal Data We Collect
Depending on your role (carrier, broker, driver, visitor), we may collect:
- Identifiers: name, address, email, phone, IP address
- Business & regulatory records: MC/DOT numbers, insurance details, KYB data, FMCSA status
- Financial information: billing address, payment details (processed by third parties)
- Device & internet activity: log files, cookies, browser sessions, usage analytics
- Geolocation data: approximate device location (if enabled)
- Professional / employment data: driver credentials, endorsements, company roles
- Sensitive data (where applicable & lawful): login credentials, facial verification images (selfie check), inferences about fraud risk or verification status
4. How We Use Personal Data
We process data under lawful bases such as contract performance, legitimate interest, legal obligation, or consent. We use data to:
- a. Provide & manage our Services: account creation, carrier/broker verification, load posting & search, subscriptions, transactions.
- b. Operate & improve the platform: reliability, security, UX testing, feature development, performance optimization.
- c. Ensure security & prevent fraud: verify identities, detect fraudulent accounts or activity, enforce Terms.
- d. Internal business & compliance: accounting, billing, audit logs, regulatory compliance (e.g., FMCSA, anti-fraud).
- e. Support & communications: respond to requests, provide product or account notices.
- f. Marketing & advertising: send product news and offers where permitted; opt-out available.
- g. Legal & safety: comply with law, protect rights, and maintain platform integrity.

5. Exclusions
- Data our business customers process in their own accounts (e.g., posting loads, managing drivers). Those customers control their own privacy policies.
- Data of our employees, applicants, or contractors collected for employment purposes (covered by separate notices).
6. Protecting Personal Data
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (encryption, access controls, monitoring, and minimization). No system is 100% secure—keep your credentials safe and log out after sessions.
7. Data Retention
- We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy or as required by law.
- Active account data is retained for the duration of your subscription or use.
- Regulatory/verification records (e.g., FMCSA, insurance validation, audit logs) may be kept for compliance and fraud prevention.
- Closed or deleted accounts may be archived for up to 12 months for security and recordkeeping, or longer where legally required.
8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
